Join author Stacy Sivinski, author of The Crescent Moon Tearoom, and the Dragonfly Books Staff on Tuesday October 29th at 7:00pm in the Hotel Winneshiek lobby for a fireside chat, including a reading, Q&A, and signing!

Stacy Sivinski was raised in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia and now is a writing and literature professor in the Midwest. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Notre Dame with a specialty in sensory studies and nineteenth-century women’s writing. In her fiction, Stacy focuses on themes of sisterhood, self-discovery, and magic. The Crescent Moon Tearoom is her debut novel.

After the untimely death of their parents, Anne, Beatrix, and Violet Quigley run a teashop, threading together stories from their customers’ tea leaves. Their tranquil days are disrupted when the Council of Witches announces that the city Diviner has lost her powers, pulling the sisters in different directions. Anne’s developing magic, Beatrix’s burgeoning writing career, and Violet’s enchantment with the circus and a charming trapeze artist reveal a family curse threatening to separate them.
