Overview
The 90-foot tall mill was built in the late 1860’s and operated for less than ten years. Now, the site offers a campground, canoe access, and a peek into the past. It can be accessed via a new stunning bridge from the parks south side.
Completed in 1869, the six story, 90-foot mill is believed to be the tallest structure of its kind in the Midwest. The site also has an inn, cooperage, smokehouse, and stable.
