This 242 acre tall-grass untouched gem is the largest prairie in Iowa and is a National and State Natural Landmark. More than 200 plant species, including 100 species of wildflowers, 46 species of birds (perfect for birdwatching) and over 20 species of butterflies have also been identified in Hayden Prairie.
